Heather Macey

Heather Macey is Director and Trustee of Makower Architects, sharing leadership of the studio’s strategic direction and operations. She has delivered high-profile urban and architectural projects in the UK, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and KSA.

As part of MAs’ city-making portfolio including Msheireb Downtown Doha, Qatar 2022, the Qatar Urban Design Compendium, and Old Doha Regeneration Framework, Heather leads projects focusing on placemaking, adaptive reuse and heritage-led regeneration.

Heather delivers socially driven, context-led design, creating distinctive urban identities. Her contributions to sustainable design and urban health have earned her innovation awards, including the Salus Future Projects Award.
